Other films were shot later, among them “Paul and Virginia”, as well as numerous television settings

International Bamboo Convention

The second International Bamboo Convention, which took place at Prafrance in 1988, brought together scientists, botanists, architects and researchers as well as artists, who enabled new openings to be made by installing on the spot plant-linked works: it was the beginning of Land Art. Plastic sculptors : Nils Udo, Marcel Robelin, Moustashar, Christophe Hill and Jean Clareboudt were able to give expression to their inspirations ; sculptors made themselves at home : Nathalie Decoster and Sergio.

The 2005 exhibition

In 2005, the works of six artists were grouped together in an exhibition : Alain Platet, Christian d’Haese, Antoinette Bugard, Alexandra Prokovitch, Corinne Bécot and Alain Meiller, who, with their exhibition entitled “Looking at the Bambouseraie” gave visitors a chance to look at plants in a different way.

The Bambouseraie's 150th anniversary

In 2006, on the Bambouseraie’s 150th anniversary, a three-artist exhibition was organised : Marcel Robelin, Martine Lafon and Tieri Lancereau-Monthubert.
