The Bambouseraie in the Cevennes obtained the national brand Tourism & Handicap in 2004 for hearing, motor and mental disabilities. Since constantly renewed, it reflects the means implemented to ensure a quality welcome and accessibility to the greatest number. For each type of disability – auditory, mental, motor – arrangements are made to welcome visitors in the best conditions:

Garden 100% accessible
Magnetic loop available at each point of sale: box office, bamboutique, bambousnack, garden centre
Throughout the visit, cartels inform the visitor about the different spaces and plants
A specific visit document will be offered free of charge at the reception
MOTOR HANDICAP
Garden fully or partially accessible depending on the type of disability: stairs serve the Mazel Greenhouses that the inscription in the inventory of "Historic Monuments" does not give us the freedom to modify.
Reception desk with a pick-up to accommodate wheelchair users
On the whole course, the paths are easily passable, the difference in altitude is light and no obstacle hinders the progress. If you are in a wheelchair, we advise you to come accompanied by a person able to push you in the few slopes of the garden.
Possible loan of an extra wheelchair suitable for people with reduces mobility.

SERVICES
HOME
The steps and risers of the stairs are contrasting colors. All stairs are equipped with podotactile guard strips.
The reception desk has a stall in order to accommodate people in wheelchairs.
The reception team is equipped with a slate to be able to dialogue in writing with people with hearing disabilities and a magnetic loop.
PARKING
Six reserved parking spaces are located as close as possible to the entrance of the site. They are marked with a floor marking. Our car parks are equipped with guide strips and podotactile strips.
TOILET
Disabled toilets are at your disposal. They are located on the reception area and inside the park.
HARDWARE
Possible loan of an extra wheelchair suitable for people with reduces mobility.
VISITING MEDIUM
